The USA Women’s U23s look forward to their second match of the 2023 Women’s Americas Rugby Trophy. Head Coach Katie Dowty announced the Match Day 23 roster ahead of Wednesday’s match against Colombia, kicking off June 7 at 9 a.m. ET, live on Brasil Rugby YouTube.
Keia Mae Sagapolu captains the squad of 23 as they take on Colombia at Nogueirão Stadium. All matches will be livestreamed on Brasil Rugby YouTube.
Head Coach Katie Dowty on their match tomorrow: “After reviewing the Brazil match, we are very confident in our ability to win gainline on both sides of the ball. When these players hit onto the ball at pace, they are a terrifying prospect for any defense. Defensively we proved our ability to stay in the fight and prevent points even deep in our half, but we’re hoping to tilt the territory scales and have more 22 entries of our own tomorrow. We’ve fine tuned some connections and are focused on playing with more possession and continuity against Colombia. If we can look after the ball, this team can fly down the pitch.”
