LAFAYETTE, Colo. - NBC Sports' coverage of international rugby continues this summer with a live presentation of the Emirates Airline Summer Series match between the USA Men's Eagles and Ireland at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 10, on NBCSN, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Rugby International Marketing, the commercial arm of USA Rugby, and TLA Worldwide present the match from Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J.
This summer's international matchup at Red Bull Arena is the first at the venue since 2010, and will be the opener of the two-match Emirates Airline Summer Series. This is the ninth meeting between the two national teams and marks the fourth consecutive year NBC Sports has presented an international test match to American audiences. Most recently, in November of last year, Ireland ended an 18-game winning streak by world champions New Zealand, gaining its first-ever victory over the All Blacks at Chicago's Soldier Field.

"We are pleased to partner with NBC Sports Group on the live presentation of this match,' said Dan Payne, Chief Executive Officer of USA Rugby. "NBC's continued commitment toward providing rugby coverage in the United States is a very important partnership that contributes to the overall awareness of the game in our country, as is the return of the fourth-ranked nation of Ireland to our shores.'
"We're excited to add the Emirates Airline Summer Series to our growing portfolio of high-profile international rugby coverage,' said Gary Quinn, VP, Programming NBC Sports Group. "We're proud to partner with USA Rugby and TLA Worldwide to present an international test match to a national audience on NBCSN for a fourth consecutive year, as the sport of rugby continues to expand its footprint in the United States.'
The Eagles have hosted three home tests against their Irish counterparts, though they have never been on the winning end of the matchup. A three-point defeat in Houston in 2013 was the latest in the series. The U.S. is coming into the Emirates Airline Summer Series on a four-match winning streak, having won the second annual Americas Rugby Championship in March 2017. John Mitchell's squad will be facing Ireland in its first Tier One opponent since a narrow 2016 loss to Italy in San Jose, Calif.
Limited tickets are still available via Ticketmaster for the match at Red Bull Arena, starting at $25 plus transactional fees.
