Following a bronze medal performance in Vancouver, the USA Women’s Eagles Sevens now call on USA support as they travel home to American soil for the final stop of the HSBC SVNS Series.
Taking on NYC at New Jersey’s Sports Illustrated Stadium, the draws have been set and the Eagles will look to top Pool B as they look to make a statement in their opening match against North American rivals, Canada with the help of the home crowd advantage. Action kicks off for the USA on March 14th at 12:34 pm in a repeat opener fresh from just days ago where the Eagles took bragging rights on Canadian turf.

Coming into the tournament ranked overall in 3rd place, the USA Women will round out pool play taking on Japan and Australia. The latter of which stymied the Eagles clean pool sweep this weekend.
The USA squad remains unchanged following the synergy set in Vancouver and USA fans can look to inject eighth-man energy to the pitch with USA home crowd support. Following an open hat-trick against Canada this weekend, hometown hero Su Adegoke will look to stamp her name in lights this weekend when she is not running support lines for teammates Kaylen Thomas, Sammy Sullivan and Ariana Ramsey who produced game changing performances over the weekend.
With a chance to review and reset their tactics, USA Women’s Head Coach, Emilie Bydwell has confidence that the squad has more in the tank and will be looking to shift up to another gear;
“As a team, we came and accomplished what we wanted in Vancouver. But we’re not satisfied either. We know, we can level up, and find another gear. We can play better than we played this weekend, but will take the learnings that we had across the weekend, and put those learnings into action next weekend at home.”
“We know we've got a job to do and we're targeting a podium at home. Once we land, we'll focus on recovering and reflecting on this weekend and making sure that we level up the gears one game at a time.”
USA fans have been called on by the USA Women’s Eagles Sevens to come out to the Sports Illustrated Stadium and bring the energy to cheer on the USA. Tickets can be purchased at https://sitickets.com/group/team/hsbc-svns-new-york Live streaming will be available on Paramount+.
