As we continue through our rugby-hiatus, it’s time to look at the top performers for the USA Women’s Sevens this season.
We all miss rugby and rugby misses us. But fear not, we can still remain engaged with the sport we all love until it’s safe to throw on the boots again.
That said, please wash your hands. Once you have, let’s dive in.
MOST TRIES, RUNS, RESTARTS - Alev Kelter

Smashing through three of the four primary statistical categories is none other than Alev Kelter. Surprised? We think not.
Kelter has been an explosive performer throughout her career and is strengthened by a dynamic team who knows just when to feed her the ball and be ready for her offloads.
At 21 tries, 101 runs and 62 restarts this season, it goes without saying that the 2016 Olympian continues to be one to watch. Word of advice, get out of her way or get run over.
MOST TACKLES - Lauren Doyle

This Boody, Illinois native is tackling machine on the pitch. You might see Lauren Doyle racing down the pitch to make a try saving tackle, or you might see her with the match-winning try.
You might not even know she’s behind you until you’re knees down, recycling the ball and all-of-a-sudden watching a soon-to-be highlight of her racing the opposite way.
With 41 tackles in the 2020 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, Doyle has let it be known that she’ll be anywhere and everywhere to get the job done.
