Power and Pace Ample on Women's Eagle Sevens Team

 
BOULDER, Colo. - The Women's Eagle Sevens side that will compete in the 2011 Dubai Sevens on December 2-3 is packed with speed, youth, and experience.
 
Head Coach Ric Suggitt has confidence in the 12-player traveling squad that will depart for Dubai on Thursday November 24. 
 
National Team veterans Amy Daniels and Pam Kosanke will lend their international experience to the younger players, and aim to put a stamp on the 2011-2012 Season that will see the USA play in four tournaments in Dubai, Las Vegas, Hong Kong and Amsterdam.
 
Size and power in the forwards comes from Daniels, Kosanke and youngsters Kaelene Lundstrum and Corey Fredericks. The back division will be complemented by the speed of Katie Dowty, the experience of Beth Black, and the scoring abilities of Emilie Bydwell.

USA Women's Eagle Sevens Pool and Schedule at Dubai Sevens

At the Emirates Airline Dubai Sevens the USA Women's Eagle Sevens team will find themselves among a very experienced and formidable pool. The team is in Pool B along with England, South Africa, and China.
 
Having lost to England the last three times they have met, the USA Women's Eagle Sevens team faces strict competition in their pool but see chances at glory in their matches against China and South Africa. 
 
The USA Women's Eagle Sevens will hope to grab a win against familiar opponent England while looking to continue their win streak against a young, yet organized Chinese team. The USA squad hasn't faced South Africa in sevens competition since beating the Springboks 21-7 in the 2008 USA Sevens Invitational.
