Alex Maughan
Alex Maughan is from Charlotte, NC and first started playing rugby at the age of 12, following the love of the game with his father. Playing with Arborbrook Christian Academy, Maughan has climbed the USA Rugby player pathway first being named to the High School All American list and U18s in 2013 before making his way to Life University in 2014, winning a pair of D1A National Championships with the Running Eagles and graduating with a degree in Psychology. Jumping to Major League Rugby, Alex joined Rugby ATL in 2019.
Maughan's pathway through the USA Rugby ranks found him with the Men's Falcons for tours of South America for the Americas Pacific Challenge in 2017, and an invite to the senior national team roster for the Americas Rugby Championship that same year. Coming in as a substitute, Alex made his debut against Uruguay in San Antonio.
