Alivia Leatherman is originally from Parma, OH where she played rugby for Normandy High School while also a captain and star soccer player. Playing for her local club the Parma Flamingos, Leatherman next joined the rugby club at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, OH where she began building on an Eagle worthy career.
Attending USA Talent ID camps and competing in the USA U23 regional tournaments of 2022, Leatherman was invited to compete with the Women's U23s South American tour of Brazil where the team won the SudAmerica International Cup and started catching the eye of the USA Women's Eagles. Alivia would make her senior National Team debut against Italy for the 2023 WXVs campaign in South Africa.
