Alyssa Porter

Alyssa Porter graduated from Bellingham High School in 2014 as a track and field star which also brought her to the University of Nevada, all before picking up rugby in Portland as a way to keep active. In the summer of 2022 she founds her strides with Portland Rugby Club before making her trying out for Premier Rugby Sevens and making the Headliners squad that year.

PR7s was a key opportunity for Porter as it caught the eye of Head Coach Emilie Bydwell with the USA Women's Eagles and earned an invite to National Team Residency in Chula Vista in 2024. Alyssa made her debut on the HSBC SVNS Series the same year at the beginning of the season in Dubai.
