Amy Bonte started playing rugby at age 19 when her sister had her tag along to practice.
In 2011 she was named to the USA Under-20s and earned Collegiate All-American honors in both 15s and 7s in 2013 and 2015 at the University of Arizona. Also a sevens player, Bonte competed with the Falcons in several developmental tournaments including two in 2016 in Vegas and Fiji.
Bonte earned her first cap with the U.S. Women's National Team in 15s against New Zealand in July of 2015 and also referees on the side within the rugby community.
Bonte owns a Bachelors Degree in Health Science.
