Originally from San Francisco, Darell Williams began playing rugby his junior year at Archbishop Riordan High School, where he was a multi-sport athlete in baseball and football.
Darell began his college rugby career near home at San Francisco Community College before transferring to Life University in 2019. Making his way up the sevens ladder at USA Club 7s Championships and RugbyTown 7s, Williams earned an invite to USA Rugby development sides in Fiji and eventually was named to the USA roster during the 2023 PanAm Games in Santiago, Chile.
A dynamic player on the wing, Darell was brought into the USA National Team residency in 2024 and made his debut at the beginning of the season in Dubai.
