Cassidy Bargell
Born and raised in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Cassidy Bargell first found rugby just before her days at Summit High School outside her hometown of Silverthorne. First taking the pitch in 8th grade with the school's popular rugby program, the multi-sport athlete was drawn to the pitch. Before graduating, Bargell landed on the USA Rugby radar with the Women's U18s High School All American program in 2018, also catching the eye of Emilie Bydwell and the USA Sevens Pathways. Competing in multiple Junior National Team tours in both 15s and sevens between 2016 - 2020, Cassidy was on the Eagle track.
Heading off to Harvard University to pursue a degree in Integrative Biology she continued on the rugby pitch with the NIRA powerhouse program, earning Sevens Player of the Year honors in 2019, winning a National Championship the same year.
Bargell started earning invites to the USA Women's Eagles camp for the first time in 2020 during the Stars and Stripes scrimmage, finally making her test match debut in 2024 against South Africa under new Head Coach Sione Fukofuka.
