Evelyn Ashenbrucker

First finding rugby during her time at UC San Diego, Ashebrucker would earn Captains honors with the collegiate club and earn U23 selections in 2011 and 2012. Ashenbrucker then parlayed her talent for the game with the San Diego Surfers of the Women's Premier League that earned the attention of USA Women's National Team Head Coach Rob Cain. Ashenbrucker's first assembly with the senior national team was during a pandemic-hosted daily training camp in Glendale, CO as the larger player pool training and competed together. In 2022, Ashenbrucker made her test match debut in New Zealand against Canada during the Pacific Four Series.

Outside of playing, Ashenbrucker coaches Humbolt State Rugby and brought the team to a final four appearance during the 2015 USA Rugby Collegiate Championships.
