Gavan D'Amore

Born and raised in Boston, Gavan D'Amore wrestled and played rugby for Brookline High School before graduating in 2011 and venturing to American International College (AIC), a school well known for it rugby programs. D'Amore was named to the College All American Sevens in 2015 and 2016.

Coming up through the USA Rugby Club scene, both during and after college, D'Amore caught the eye of USA Sevens Head Coach Mike Friday while at the 2019 Club 7s National Championships in Kansas City, MO while playing with Old Blue New York. A month later Gavan was invited to the USA High Performance Camp in Chula Vista and remained in the pathway before making his HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series debut in Vancouver 2021. In 2022, he was also named to the Rugby World Cup Sevens squad in Cape Town.
