Greg Peterson started playing rugby when he was 5 years old. He represented the Australian U20s during the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship, he moved on to a promising professional and club career with New South Wales Waratahs of Super Rugby (2010-14), Captain of the North Harbour Rays during the 2014 Australia National Rugby Championship, Leicester Tigers (2014-15) and Glasgow Warriors.
In 2014, Peterson made his debut with the USA Men's National Team against Romania, continuing to make consistent appearances with the Eagles until he earned an appointment to the 2015 Rugby World Cup team where he took the pitch in all four matches. Four years later, Greg was also named to the 2019 Rugby World Cup roster in Japan.
