Jamason Fa’anana-Schultz was born and raised in Australia, orginally from Ipswich and finding rugby at an early age, 5 years old in fact, while also excelling at other sports like football and athletics. Playing through grade school and into college at the University of Queensland & University of Sydney.
Fa’anana-Schultz first appeared on the USA Rugby radar in 2019, as he was invited by then Head Coach Gary Gold to the Rugby World Cup camp in Colorado, eventually earning his first cap against Canada during the Pacific Nations Cup. While he wasn't selected for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, Fa’anana-Schultz has since been a force on the Eagles squad and well on his way to selection for 2027.
