Lauina Futi
Born and raised in American Samoa, "Ina" was first on a Football path in life, playing through High School at Tafuna High School winning back to back Varsity Championships and and MVP honors at the 2014 Samoa Bowl. Futi would move to the States and started playing rugby at the age of 19 with San Louis Obsibo Rugby Club in 2015 before making his way to the Seattle area, joining the Orcas of Seattle Rugby Club.
A feeder program to Major League Rugby, Ina made the Seattle Seawolves roster in 2021 and climbing his way to multiple Player of the Match and Player of the Week honors. A skilled flyhalf, Futi was identified through MLR and first invited to USA National Team camp in 2023 where he would debut against Portugal in August of that year. Off the pitch, Futi enjoys spending time with his two kids Keali’i and Noah.
