Doyle grew up in Boody, Illinois, playing volleyball, basketball, soccer and running track at Meridian High School. She was recruited to play varsity rugby at Eastern Illinois University, where she played for four years and walked onto the track team for one semester during her junior year.
Doyle started playing rugby sevens at Chicago North Shore the summer before her senior year, subsequently earning a residency at the Olympic Training Site in Chula Vista, CA where she made her Women's Sevens debut at the 2012 Dubai Sevens.
Serving as the leading try-scorer during the Women's Sevens Olympic qualification campaign at the 2015 NACRA Sevens Championships, Doyle also helped her squad win a Silver medal at the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games. In 2016 she was selected to Team USA's 12-player roster for the Rio Olympics, and again in 2020 for the Tokyo games. Doyle currently serves as the USA Women's Sevens Captain.
