Lauren Doyle
Doyle grew up in Boody, Illinois, playing volleyball, basketball, soccer and running track at Meridian High School. She was recruited to play varsity rugby at Eastern Illinois University, where she played for four years and became a national stand out. Doyle started playing rugby sevens at Chicago North Shore the summer before her senior year, subsequently earning a residency invite to the Olympic Training Center, where she made her Women's Sevens debut at the 2012 Dubai Sevens.
Serving as the leading try-scorer during the Olympic qualification campaign at the 2015 NACRA Sevens Championships, Doyle also helped her squad win a Silver medal at the 2015 Toronto PanAm Games. In 2016 she was selected to Team USA's 12-player roster for the Rio Olympics, and again for the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 games. As one of the more tenured players in USA Sevens history, Doyle currently serves as the USA Women's Sevens co-Captain.
