Leilani Nathan is an aggressive forward who made her debut against New Zealand in Hamilton in 2023.
Born on the Central Coast, NSW, before moving to Newcastle, Nathan has a twin sister, Nicole Nathan, who also played rugby growing up.
Of Tongan and Māori descent, the pair played for the Hamilton Hawks coming through the junior system before moving to Sydney, where Leilani joined the Warringah Rats.
She made her debut for the NSW Waratahs in the 2023 Super Rugby Women's competition before earning her first cap in gold a few months later.
Nathan floated in and out of the Wallaroos squad in 2024 before a knee injury ruled her out of the WXV 2 tournament.
Away from rugby, Nathan is a What Ability ambassador and passionate about working with people with a disability.
