Maya Learned

A four-time letter winner in swimming for George Washington High School, Learned holds the school records in the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay. Making her way to rugby after being handed a flyer, Learned played four seasons with the Glendale Raptors Youth Club and also captained the George Washington HS rugby team and was a member for the 2014 Colorado Selects.

Learned would go on to win two state championships with the Glendale Raptors and was named a USA Rugby High School All-American and Junior All-American in 2013 and 2014.

Going on to play rugby at Harvard in 2014, Learned was named to the USA Rugby Collegiate All-American list all four years. In San Diego, CA during the 2019 CanAm Series, Maya would make her USA debut against Canada.

Maya is a two-time representative of the USA at the Rugby World Cup, having been named to the 2021 and 2025 squads.
