Born in Overland Park, Kansas, Michael Baska first found rugby in High School at Saint Thomas Aquinas before going on to play at rugby powerhouse, Lindenwood University where he graduated with a degree in Sports Management. After an appearance with the Men's Collegiate All American 7s in 2017, USA Head Coach Gary Gold identified Baska's talent with MLR in 2020 and soon after made his debut against England at Twickenham Stadium in July of 2021.
