Nia Toliver

Local to Los Angeles, Nia Toliver found rugby in 2013 with ICEF Rugby, which began a special career as one of the games most dynamic athletes. Toliver was selected to the High School All Americans with USA Rugby, placing her into the high performance pathway in 2015.

Climbing the rugby ladder over the next few years - with a stint in New Zealand with Burnside High School and University of Canterbury - Toliver landed in Chula Vista ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where Head Coach Chris Brown selected her to the Olympic roster, even before making her debut on the HSBC SVNS series.

Switching to the 15s pitch, Nia moved overseas to Japan to play professional in Hokkaido before returning to USA Sevens in 2024 and playing her first HSBC SVNS in Dubai that year. Nia exploded back on the scene as the leading try scorer on the series for the first two stops.
