Ehrecke started playing rugby at the age of 16 in High School and attended the USA Women's U18 camp in 2013, followed by U20s from 2014-15 and U23 for all four years of her collegiate career at Penn State University, before graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
Well used to the championship podium, Rachel earned League MVP honors and won three National Championships with Penn State, alongside a WPL Championship with the Glendale Merlins in 2019, 2023 and as Captain in 2024.
Ehrecke would make her USA National Team debut in November of 2021 against Canada during the Pacific Four Series.
She served as Captain for the USA falcons in 2024 before being selected for her first Rugby World Cup squad selection in England in 2025.
