Rachel Strasdas

Originally a multi-sport High School athlete from Oregon, Rachel Strasdas picked up rugby while at Brigham Young University. She tried out her sophomore year after playing intramural basketball with some players from the university rugby team, then playing her first game in September 2018 against Colorado Mesa. Earning USA Rugby U20 honors in 2019 playing 15s, Strasdas would also win the USA Rugby Women's D1 Fall National Championship the same year.

Shifting to sevens, Strasdas joined the USA Women's Sevens residency in 2021 and debuted on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series during the Dubai Sevens that December. Outside her playing commitments, Rachel is also a USA Rugby certified Referee and continues to coach with her alma mater, BYU.
