Tommaso Boni

Hailing from Mestre, Italy, Tommaso Boni came up through the Italian rugby system playing in High School and college at Pegaso University in Naples, also earning a degree in Economics and playing basketball and tennis, sports Boni had won junior championships in.

Making a name for himself in Italian rugby with Mogliano Rugby and Zebra, Boni's first international appearance was with the Italy U20s in 2012 and would win his first test cap with the Italian national team in 2016, going on to make 11 appearances for Italy. Following the World Rugby eligibility change in birthright transfers, Boni reached out to USA Rugby with an American grandfather who was born in New York. Almost immediately joining the Men's Eagles camp, Tommaso made his debut for the USA in August of 2023 against Romania in Bucharest.
