The final tour for the USA Men’s Eagles this year will venture through Europe as World Rugby confirms the second series for Nations Cup in November.
Currently at the top of Pool A following a 3-0 record during the first round of Nations Cup in July, the Men’s Eagles will now compete against the three remaining Pool B nations - Hong Kong, Romania and Georgia. The USA are currently tied with Georgia on overall points, setting up an exciting finale on November 21st that could be a winner-take-all match for the Nations Cup.

The November tour for the USA Men’s Eagles is an annual stretch of matches that now lives under the Nations Cup banner. Each year the multi-nation tour offers valuable experience to the squad as they compete across three away matches, in different environments and adaptations – all adding up to strong preparation for the rigors of the Rugby World Cup.
Head Coach Scott Lawrence said on the upcoming tour, “The Nations Cup gives us valuable lessons. Competing against top international teams sharpens our game model and the discipline, habits and bonds that define us. Every test match, training and travel day together pushes our growth, on and off the field.”
Georgia and Romania will be familiar opposition to this player pool, having competed against both nations last November on away grounds. Hong Kong presents a new pairing for USA fans, where the only previous match up in recent years was in 2022.
The Europe tour will be an extension of matches for the Men’s Eagles this year, as it immediately follows a two-game series on home soil against Australia A in Nashville (Oct 17) and New Jersey (Oct 30). Once complete, the Nations Cup will close the books on an 11 match slate for the USA in 2026, providing a healthy slate of match play for the squad who are now a year out from the Rugby World Cup. Lawrence and the Men’s Eagles have been consistent in the message and focus this year, where each series and fixture is a strategic building block towards success next fall in Australia.
