GREELEY, CO. - Following a scrimmage against the Glendale Merlins Division 1 team, Women’s Collegiate All-American XVs Head Coach Katie Dowty has named her match day roster to face D1/D2 All Stars in the finale of All Star Week. The match kicks off today at 9:30 AM MT on facebook.com/wplrugby.
“A huge thank you to Glendale Merlins for providing us the opportunity to play a third match yesterday,” said Coach Dowty. “Several players seized that opportunity to play their way into today’s lineup and displayed the attitude and determination it takes to become an Eagle.
“The entire squad has shown great intent to learn and grow throughout the week and are excited for one more chance to play up against the senior players.”
All Star Week opened on Thursday, August 1 where the All-Americans fell to the WPL West All Stars 51-17. D1/D2 All Stars fell to the WPL East All Stars 32-17 which seeded all teams for today’s games.
